Is an excellent read and a reminder that we can all use some fine-tuning tips. Berkun is a technology speaker who has worked for Microsoft and done a fair amount of corporate training. He goes into some of the mechanics of public speaking, and in particular reminds us that the view from our audience is worth keeping in mind when we climb up on the podium (which Berkun also takes pains to differentiate from the lectern).

Grabbed the Kindle version from Amazon, and read it in about three days between appointments, etc.
Portions might seem more aimed at beginners that experienced pros, but author provides some interesting perspectives which all could find helpful and thought-provoking.
Appendices A-D — “Little things the pros do” –consisting tips and hints, also useful. Ax E “You can’t do worse than this” is war stories from many speakers — laugh, cry, or just be glad it wasn’t YOU! Author closes with a pretty useful annotated bibliography (Ax F).
All in all, I felt “confessions” was worth my time and money investment, specially in the Kindle/portable version
