Shep Hyken, CSP, CPAE Bio:
Shep Hyken, CSP, CPAE is a customer service expert, professional speaker and author who works with companies and individuals who want to build loyal relationships with their customers and employees. He is the CAO (Chief Amazement Officer) of Shepard Presentations, LLC and since 1983 has been delivering high energy presentations that combine important information with entertainment to create exciting and memorable programs for his audiences.
Shep is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best selling author of Amaze Every Customer Every Time, The Amazement Revolution, The Cult of the Customer, The Loyal Customer and Moments of Magic. His articles have been read in hundreds of publications and he is recognized in the world of social media as one of the top ten most influential customer service experts. In 2012 Huffington Post included him on the list of the Top 100 thought leaders to follow on Twitter.
Shep has worked with hundreds of companies and associations ranging from “Fortune 500” size corporations to smaller organizations with less than 50 employees. Shep is a proud member of the National Speakers Association. Joining in 1988, within one year Shep became involved on the board of the local St. Louis chapter. A year later he was elected to serve as president of the chapter. In addition to numerous volunteer committees and jobs at the national level, he joined the National Board of Directors in 2006 and is the 2014-15 National President.
