Members ONLY Mastermind and Lunch 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

From the beginning of time, stories are how we have passed on our values, made sense of the world and effected change. Today, it’s how we influence our customers, our teams, and audiences.

Combining exercises in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), classic storytelling, stand-up comedy, improv, acting, and professional speaking, Purposeful Storytelling™ helps participants strategically develop signature and turning-point stories to motivate, inspire and influence team members, customers and audiences.

This session has been custom designed for NSA chapter members who speak professionally or incorporate speaking as a key element of their business.

The first portion of the session will give participants a fundamental understanding of:

  • Classic story structure and shaping
  • Identifying the key point and desired outcome/call to action
  • The 7 essential elements of purposeful stories
  • The two struggles that stories must embody

The second portion of the presentation will consist of fun, ‘on your feet’ performance and acting exercises designed to help participants at all levels:

  • Expand their flexibility and gain greater command of phrasing, pauses, tempo and rhythm
  • Create visual imagery and scenes in the audiences’ minds

During the mastermind portion in the afternoon, members will be invited to share a story, and explore ways to enhance impact and delivery through live coaching by Michel.
